Abstract
This project is on an evaluation of the influence of billboard advertisement on the consumption of Trophy Laser Beer amidst residents of Abeokuta metropolis. The study of the effect of billboard advertisement on the consumption of Trophy Laser Beer among the residents of Abeokuta metropolis was carried out to critically appraise the roles of the outdoor medium on the consumption of the product. The study employed descriptive survey method. 200 copies of questionnaires were distributed to the selected respondents, with only 187 copies returned and analyzed in this study. The findings discovered that billboard advertising creates awareness of products and services, influence consumers of product and services in their choice of product. Billboard advertising also contribute to nation’s environmental beautification and economic growth. ABSTRACT
This research work is on An evaluation of the effectiveness of public relations strategies employed during the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic conversion crises. Without equivocation, this study evaluated the PR strategies deployed by staffs of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic during the conversion crises. The aim of the study was to critically investigate the strategies deployed and evaluate the effectiveness of each of those strategies.. This study was rooted in the theoretical foundation of image restoration, situational crises communication and image restoration theories. The study also examined the various past researches that have been carried out which are associated with the study.
The sample size of the study was 200 respondents, selected through purposive sampling technique. The study employed survey research design, in which questionnaires were administered to the sample population of the study. Out of the 200 questionnaires administered, only 188 were returned and analyzed in the study. Abstract
This project is on An evaluation of the effect of new media on the production and sale of conventional newspapers in Nigeria, This study is conducted to evaluate the effect of new media technologies on the production and sales of conventional newspapers in Nigeria. The study employed Nigerian Tribune as its population, with a sample population of 187 respondents who are workers of the print medium. The study is survey oriented and by that virtue, questionnaire as a survey instrument was used to collect data from the respective respondents. The study concludes that indeed, without mincing words, the emergence of new media technologies have influenced the production and sales of conventional newspapers. While it has eased the production processes of conventional papers, it has also drastically reduced the readership of the papers as many now rely on new media platforms to access news worthy contents. The study therefore recommends that managers of conventional newspapers subscribe to online platforms to meet up with the evolving world
