Abstract
This project An assessment of the impact of budgeting and control system and on attainment of organizational goals focuses on Federal Polytechnic Bida. The revision of the approved budget should be done on timely basis and this revision should be made to pass through various stages approval before is accepted. There should budget committee, the committee should be charged with the responsibility of advising and controlling all collected estimates of various units or departments which will be forwarded to the in the chief executive officer for approval. The method the researcher used in finding the hypothesis is simple random percentage method and Accidental method. The researcher attempted to look at An Assessment of the impact of budgeting and control system and the attainment of achieving organizational goal in public sector and how it is employed in federal polytechnic Bida for them to achieve their organizational goal for an organization to reap gains of budgeting and control, participations of all cadres of employees is basically essential without their inputs to budgets any standard set by top management may be seen as imposed.
