Abstract
The objective of this project was to examine the current procedures used in the manual child abuse database system and problems inherent in it. The project also aimed at improving on the already existing system by designing an efficient computer aided database system for more reliable, faster and accurate results. The review was based on expressions on the child abuse and neglect, type abuse an neglect. In the analysis of the existing system, the manipulation on the data and release of the required result were extensively studied in essence. The justification for the new was also looked into in designing a computerized child abuse database system, block diagrams, flow charts and program design were used..
