Description
Abstract Federal Polytechnic has a large number of students who pay all fees through cash deposits or bank drafts to the polytechnic accounts in specific bank branches. These methods of paying fees have not been efficient enough especially during periods of tests and examinations when most of the students are required to pay fees to meet the requirements for entering examination rooms. The process of paying fees is characterized by long queues, too much waiting by students and congestion at the banks where payments are made. The new application is meant to achieve a more convenient process. The research methodology used is the structured system and design methodology (SSADM) which is an internationally accepted software engineering methodology mainly used in most result oriented analysis. The programming tools used include Hypertext mark-up language HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript while the data repository is MYSQL.
