Abstract

This project work focuses on Impact of modern office technology on the office managers level of productivity. This study reveals the impact of modern office technology on the office manager’s level of productivity and uses P&G PLC, OLUYOLE ESTATE, IBADAN as the case study. As a result of changes in technology, the role of office managers in business has changed tremendously from that of typewriting and shorthand dictation, answering telephone calls and processing of mails. This study thereby uses survey research design to evaluate the impact of modern office technology on the office manager as questionnaires were used to collect data from the respondents. The study, thus recommends that training in the use of office technology be intensified to increase the knowledge level of office managers and subsequently their productivity.
