Abstract

This project looks at the Influence of work shift and marital status on the anxiety level of workers. Two hundred and forty (240) volunteer participants were selected through a stratified sampling technique. Spielberger”s state-trait anxiety inventory (STAI) was used as an instrument for data collection. The age of the participants ranged from 25 to 60 and a mean age of 44 years. The design was a cross-sectional survey while the stratifies employed was F-test. All three hypotheses were rejected. The implication and recommendations of the study were made in line with the findings of the research.
