Abstract
This research work is on Information needs and seeking behaviour of senior non-academic staff of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri. The process of data collection for the study was guided by seven (7) objectives and research questions formulated for the study. The objectives of the study are. To identify if there is a felt need for information by senior non-academic staff of federal polytechnic Nekede, to identify the sources through which the satisfy their information needs, to ascertain their information needs, to find out and highlight the impact of satisfied information need on them and work performance, to find out the type of information they need, to identify and highlight the problems they encounter in seeking for information and to proffer solutions to the identified problems.
