Abstract

This project work is on Relevance of Microsoft word and power point to the work of an office manager in an institution. The method used for the study and sources of information obtained were textbooks, journals, questionnaires and internet materials. Office managers were randomly selected for this study. Data were collected, presented and analyzed using tables, mean and standard deviation. From the analysis, the research revealed among others that there is an impact of Microsoft word and PowerPoint applications on office managers’ performance. The study, therefore, recommended among others that: Adequate training, seminars, workshops and further training needs to be organized and placed with high priority and recognition in every organization’s manpower planning.
