Abstract

Statistical analysis of expenditure and turnover of a company from 2010-2020 – case study of Topfeed Feedmill, Umuahia. This research project looked into the relationship between the expenditure and turnover Topfeed feed mill from 2010– 2020. Data used for this research were obtained from Secondary sources and were analyzed using regression and correlation analyses. From the hypothesis conducted, the regression analysis confirmed that the data fit the model. From correlation analysis, there is a positive linear correlation between expenditure and turnover. The aim of this research is to examine whether cumulative turnover and expenditure are correlated and the objectives are: i. To determine whether there is any relationship between expenditure and turnover of the firm. ii. To determine a forecasting model on turnover and expenditure. iii. To determine whether expenditure over the years increases or decreased in a regular pattern.
