Abstract
This project looks at Statistical analysis of students’ height and weight (case study of federal polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo state). This study was designed to analyze the students height and weight. In the process of carrying out this research work, two methods of analysis were applied. Regression and correlation analysis was used for the data analysis. The population for the research work was made up of students of federal polytechnic Nekede. Results from the correlation coefficient show a negative value, indicating that individual’s height those not depend on his or her weight. The research made some recommendation and possible suggestion to parents to educate them on the need to improve consumption of a balanced diet.
