Abstract
In this research,“The impact of foreign exchange transaction in the operation of banks” as surveyed using Union Bank as a case study. This was chosen because it is perceived to one f the Ogba Branch of Union Bank that were solely financed by the government and would therefore provide a good sample for the determination of the impact of bank fund on foreign exchange transaction. For a detail treatment of all the relevant facts of the study, it was divided into five chapters. Again, to provide the work with a focus of framework on the adequacy of fund provided to the programme and the potential of the programme to improve on its performance in the future. A filed study was sued to carry out on the course of the results of the analysis of data. These data were collected through questionnaires
