Abstract
This project looks at The impact of instructional materials towards effective teaching and learning agricultural science in secondary schools (a case study of Mashi local government area). The purpose of this research work is to find out the impact of instructional materials towards effective teaching and learning of agricultural science in some selected secondary schools in ingawa local government the research revealed that provision of enough instructional materials and qualified teachers to teach the subject will contribute in promoting effective teaching and learning of agricultural science subject in our secondary schools. The data were collected using questionnaire administered to the respondent in some purposively selected secondary school in ingawa local government. The data was analysed and presented in percentage. It is suggested that the use of instructional material is critical in teaching of agricultural science in secondary school.
