Abstract
This research work is on Lassa fever prevention practices among students of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, Edo state. This explored the Lassa fever prevention practices among students of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma. Three research questions were raised to guide the study. A random sample of 150 students was drawn from students domicile in the halls of residences within the school campus. A self designed questionnaire validated by experts was administered. It was pretested for reliability using the test retest and yielded a reliability coefficient of 0.73. Research results shows that while students had good awareness on Lassa fever, their knowledge of the disease was limited. Additionally, many students were not practicing good prevention strategies. Recommendations were made amongst others that students be well educated on Lassa prevention to help encourage the adoption of good prevention practices.
