Computerized production control management information system

Description

Abstract The problem that necessitates the choice of this research work is to find out how computer application in our industrial sector has affected the adjustment in the production cycle, control management decision, and the economy as a whole. To achieve this goal, Cola-Cola Bottling Company Plc which is one of the company, that has computerized production machinery was chosen as a case study. The data used for the study was collected in Kano South Industrial Area and it covered areas such as computerized production control and management. Data collected were subjected to analysis using efficiency test. The new system was designed using Microsoft visual basic 6.0 programming language. This language was chosen because of its easy syntax and features for developing windows based applications.
