Abstract
This project Data Security with Cryptography over a Network takes a critical look at how data can be securely transmitted over a network without it been compromised by prying eyes. The application has an encryption module which takes input from the user, with a subject for the inputted data, and a receiver ID created at the time of encrypting the file. In it is an’Encrypt’ button which encrypts the data. Then there is the Decryption module that requires the receiver ID, subject etc to be inputted before the data can be decrypted and displayed. The application is designed for communication over a network hence it has a very simple user-friendly interface and very few clickable buttons thus making navigation easy. The data are very secure and requires a username and password to access its features
