Design and implementation of staff productivity and job scheduling information system

Description

Abstract This project is aimed at computerizing the processes of staff productivity and job scheduling information system in the security unit of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana. Job scheduling is carried out manually with the use of a notice board, this brings a lot of problems as staff finds it difficult in complying. The process of job scheduling comprises assigning duties post and other activities constitute difficulties and this, most often result in low performance in staff productivity. There are cases of uncontrolled absence from duty posts, late arrival, and lackadaisical attitude in many organizations. In light of these, the computerized staff productivity and job scheduling information system is introduced. In this system, the means through which proper scheduling of jobs can improve staff productivity and information obtained are authenticated. To facilitate the project, the researcher used interviews and examination of document methods and internet service were sources of data collection. During the design, SSADM was adopted, hence, the language choice was Html, PHP and CSS. To end this, the project will eliminate the entire internet problems associated with the current system operation.
