Abstract
This project focuses on The effect of technological advancement on the performance of the secretary. Significant literature were reviewed, the questionnaire was the instrument used in collecting the data and questions were used. The population comprised of secretaries, managers and supervisors of some selected organizations. The method of data analysis used was mean scores. Based on the data collected, it was found that inadequate skill, lack of information technology facilities and inadequate training being given to trainee secretaries are the affirmed possible problems encountered by secretaries while in the office. Finally, recommendations were made, for adequate provision of these facilities, skills and training to secretaries to enable them to function effectively.
