Abstract

Use of library among secondary school students – case study of Nekede secondary school students, Owerri. This study was designed to investigate the extent of the Use of Library among Secondary School Students. The population of the study comprised of the library attendant and the entire students in senior secondary school (SSS) 1, 2, and 3 of Umuerim, Nekede secondary school, Owerri, Imo State. Questionnaire was used to collect data and was analyzed using frequency tables and percentages. Data generated was analyzed and the results showed that students used the library for assignments, and to prepare for examinations. Poor organization of the library resources is the challenge to using the library. It recommended library organization as the solution.
