Abstract
This project look at the impact of trade unions on workers welfare – a case study of federal polytechnic Bida Niger State as a case study. In carrying out this research work both primary and secondary data were used by the researcher. The data analyzed were collected from the field survey through the use of a questionnaire, which was analyzed and interpreted using tables and percentages, the result of the findings revealed that the trade union (ASUP) fight effectively for the welfare of their workers. From the research findings conclusion was drawn and the result of the analysis shows that the trade union (ASUP) does not allow the workers to be checked of their rights through a delay of their salary payment and other allowances. The study recommends ensuring that more provision should be made by the union in order to make their effort more effective and efficient to able then maintain their good standing. .
