Abstract
Cryptography is a technique of securing information and communications through the use of codes so that only those persons for whom the information is intended can understand it and process it. The following problems were encountered in the current system Illegal access/download of the company’s media. The existing system does not have a way of communicating with the network administrator on any unauthorized access activities on the network which has led to virus being injected into the network system. The aim of this project is the Design and Implementation of an online data cryptography system for Papal The following objectives were met Reduce illegal download of the company media, provide reliable secured access in order to avoid tampering with the company’s and staff documents. The methodology to be used is the Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology. This was considered because it breaks down the project into smaller phases that can easily be managed and achieved. The tools to be used for the development of the new system are PHP for the back end, Javascript for the Front End and MySQL for the Database Administration. The new system when fully implemented, will increase with which access is made to data and increase the profit of the company
