The University of Texas at Tyler is providing an award amount of $2,000 for students in the USA. Academic merit awards are based solely on GPA, class rank and/or region. All applicants must submit official documents to be considered.
Eligibility: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
- Rank within the top 25% of high school graduating class with 3.0 minimum high school GPA, or minimum 3.5 high school GPA for homeschool students, non-ranking high schools, and international students.
- Applicants must have to submit the academic transcripts of all previous schools attended.
- TOEFL, PTE and IELTS score requirements will be met for individuals who complete Level 6 of The University of Texas at Tyler Intensive English Language Institute (IELI) with no grade lower than an A, or those who complete Level 7 with no grade lower than a B.
