Abstract

Application of regression analysis on revenue and expenditure of Sokoto state government – case study of Sokoto state ministry of finance. The use of the concept of regression and correlation analysis to investigate the relationship between revenue and expenditure of Sokoto State. Secondary data were collected from Sokoto State Ministry of Finance for the period 2004-2014 was used for the study. It was established from the result that there exists strong relationship between the revenue and expenditure of the State.
