Abstract
This research work is based on the comparative analysis of dental disease among the different age groups and gender from 2009– 2018. This objective is achieved by collecting secondary data through the transcript from the medical record office, using the method of analysis of variance. Correlation method and chi-square. The finding shows that there is no significant difference in the number of people affected by dental diseases. According to the research carried out, it has been observed that dental disease has increased from 30% in 2009 to 60% in 2018 in the country (Nigeria). Till date no comparative study of dental disease has been carried conducted in Nigeria. Dental disease is a sickness that has to do with the teeth and its symptoms are pain in the teeth, discolor, hole in teeth, etc. The symptoms are treated by examining the teeth through the use of X-RAY, teeth extracting, giving medical care and filling of new dentine.
