The social problems include spending extra years before graduation, stealing, disruption of social/recreational activities, untimely death and termination of Educational career. Measures for controlling cult activities include encouraging students to join religious groups, prohibiting the sale and consumption of intoxicating drugs, using guidance/counselors, humiliating publicly cult members and legal action against them. Based on the findings, recommendations for implementation include the government taking tougher measures on student cultists and university authorities beefing up the security department and equipping them adequately.
