Description
Abstract Supermarkets loose considerable income due to pilferage by staff or incomplete and inaccurate recording of financial transaction. This has led to poor performance and most times final close down of these supermarkets. The major factor responsible for low profits is the manual collection and fraudulent recording of financial transactions. It is for these reasons that this software is being developed. Few supermarket staff and managers were interviewed at the analysis stage and the software module followed the internationally accepted software enquiry principle. The Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM) methodolgy was used. The output is a software that can record income and expenditure and provide accurate record and reliable account of a supermarket.
