Design and implementation of a Web-based evaluation and deployment of pattern recognizers

Description

Abstract The study is based on the aspect of computing known as pattern recognition. Pattern recognition is the automated recognition of patterns and regularities in data. It has applications in statistical data analysis, signal processing, image analysis, information retrieval, bioinformatics, data compression, computer graphics and machine learning. Pattern recognizer tools are mostly implemented using traditional desktop technologies; this project seeks to create a pattern recognizer using web-based technologies. This approach encourages the possibility for technical analysis and it involves a heuristic search for relationships between available system information and its features which are inaccessible for direct measurement. The programming languages used in this project are PHP and JavaScript as the back end programming languages because of their cross-platform nature. The front end is built using HTML and CSS.
