Abstract
This project looks at the Effective marketing planning as a means of achieving increased sales volume. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between effective marketing planning as a means of achieving increased sales volume in Ecobank in Owerri Imo State. After a critical analysis of the data collected and the test of the hypothesis, the following were established. That there is a significant relationship between marketing planning as a means of achieving increased sales volume of banks. Moderating variables do interfere in the relationship between marketing planning and means of achieving increased sales volume if banks in Owerri. With the result, the researcher finally made some recommendations, suggestion and conclusions. One of such recommendation is that banks should improve their marketing planning activities regular in order to cope with the severity of the marketing environment
