Abstract
This research work was a study of the Effect of Malnutritional among children of lower socioeconomic status aged 0-5 years. (a case study of SabonGari ward in Gusau local government area of Zamfara state). Data were collected using questionnaire method and the results were analyzed using simple, statistics method. From the findings, it was recommended that the government should provide or organize educational programs that will improve and mobilize members of the society (Public) to identify the symptoms of nutritional deficiency, facilitating early diagnosis and timely treatment. Government should also try and distribute more vaccines and other protective devices. More clinics should also be established in rural areas to ease people’s risk of traveling to city centers to receive treatments.
