Abstract
This research work is on Influence of teachers lateness on pupils academic achievements in primary school education in Mokwa local government. The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of lateness among teachers on the academic achievements of pupils in Primary school education in Mokwa Local Government Area. Previous studies relevant to the study were reviewed. The survey research design was used in the study. Equal number of teachers and pupils were interviewed through the use of questionnaire. The influence of lateness on the academic achievements of Pupils in Primary schools was developed by the researcher and use for data analysis. Three hypotheses were formulated for the study and tested using simple percentage method. The result indicated that lateness to work by teachers has a significant influence on the academic achievements of teachers and pupils. And location, psychological effects, and gender all affect achievements. It was recommended that accommodation for teachers to be in school on time to begin instruction. Teachers should continue to have a good interpersonal relationship with their Pupils such as finding out about their academic progress. Such concern for Pupils will capture their interest in study and as such enhance their achievements.
