Multimedia data (image and audio) encryption in a network environment



Abstract With the rise in electronic communication (via multimedia data such as images, music, videos, etc). there is a need for efficient and secure security systems. To achieve high security, encryption is one of the ways to protect data from unauthorized users. In this project, the researcher developed a robust encryption technique for encrypting data using a combination of cryptography and RSA keys. The use of cryptic keys methods in the encryption makes it more difficult for the attackers to decrypt the image. The enhance encryption system was designed to ensure a security mechanism using computerized data encryption/decryption algorithms to resolve the problems of insecurity of information in organizations by creating powerful mathematical concepts coded messages that are virtually impossible to break using data encryption standard algorithm. The dot NET framework was used to develop the software. The dot Net framework was used to develop the app due to its rich set of cryptography classes.
