Abstract
Statistical analysis of the relationship between travelling and knowledge acquisition. In this study, the aim is to provide an explanation of the relationship between traveling and knowledge acquisition among students. In this study, the focused population includes all students in the Department of Statistics in the 2020/2021 academic session at the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara. The process includes selecting a random sample of 150 students from the population of interest. This result reveals that most of the participants involved in this study love traveling which makes the information obtained from this study more adequate and reliable. It was also found that 71.27% agreed that there is new knowledge gained from traveling. This implies that, since a higher amount of the population of study are of the opinion that there is new knowledge gained during the process of their travelling we, therefore, conclude that there is new knowledge gained from engaging in traveling. Finally, the study found that there are a lot of things to learn when we are engage in traveling and this has proven fundamental ways of gaining new knowledge..
