Abstract
Statistical analysis on the comparison of Covid-19 parameters across various countries. The aim of this study is to ascertain the reported cases of COVID-19 data parameters for various countries. The COVID-19 data were sourced from the publication of tradingeconomies.com as at 26th November, 2021 and were presented using various descriptive statistical tools such as mean, standard deviation and line chart. The result of the study shows that for all the countries examined, the average confirmed cases was 5,894,842 as at 26/11/2021, with a standard deviation of 2,035,514. In addition, it was found that death cases across the countries examined averaged about 102,287. But the standard error shows that the cases vary with about 34,000 cases among countries. The average number of people vaccinated is 208,890,754 as at 26/11/2021, with a standard deviation of 97,734,993. The data also show that an average of 3,033,594 individuals have recovered in the countries examined. For the number of deaths as a percentage of the number of confirmed cases, China has the highest value (3.63%) while Israel has the least value (0.61%).
