Abstract

The study was intended to find out Strategies towards fraud control. This is because fraud has led to the loss of projects/liquidation in many companies which culminated in staff retrenchment. Knowledgeable and literate employees of Secondary Education Management Board Owerri, were used for the study. A total of 200 staff were randomly selected for the research work. The two separate alternative hypotheses, H, were all accepted when tested. Twenty (20) research questions were formulated to guide the study. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and simple percentage were used to test the two separate hypotheses. It was found out that the government contributed to fraud due to its financial policies and insufficient allocations
