Abstract
This project looks at The need for proper training for secretaries to enhance greater productivity in an organization. It examined the vital roles played by the secretaries in an organization and despite their role toward the success of any secretaries in an organization. It emphasizes that secretaries must be trained in order to carry out their functions. They must know when to consult their bosses on how to deal with job at hand. Questionnaire is the instrument used for data collection. Simple percentage was used for the analysis of data collected. From the analysis, it was discovered that proper training improves employees’ performance. It was therefore recommended that training should be a continuous process whether it is below an organization standard or not.
