Time series analysis of people suffering from malaria, typhoid and diarrhea (case study of Abia State University Teaching hospital).
Abstract
This research project is avert crucial study for Abia State Teaching Hospital Aba. It was motivated by the necessity to improve the data of people suffering from malaria, typhoid and cholera in Abia State from 1991- 2006. Chapter one of this project gives insight into the objective of the study which includes determining if there is an increase in the average number of patients suffering from malaria and knowing whether this has any existing relationship among the average people suffering from typhoid the approaches to illness, and its significance on patients. Chapter two reviews so much literature on the time series analysis of the various sicknesses. The data used for this project was secondary data obtained from the Abia State Teaching Hospital Aba and simple dsta on malaria, typhoid and cholera was taken to analyze using time series and regression analysis. Finally, the research recommended that teachers should organize an enlightenment programme on the need to have regular routine checks in the state.
