Abstract
This project material is on Topographical and detailed survey of a section of Federal Polytechnic Nekede. Topographical survey is a survey showing features (Artificial and natural) produced on a plan. The Federal Polytechnic Praise God Anglican Chapel topographic survey is required in order to showcase the used area and make plans for future development. Field technologies include perimeter survey, levelling and detailing. From the result, thirteen traverse stations were used resulting in a total perimeter of 21452.820m2. From the job, an accuracy of 1/45525 was obtained and a map was produced on a scale of 1:1000. The following instrument was used while carrying out the projects which are Theodite and it’s accessories, total station, Automatic level, levelling staff, 50 meters tape, compass, tripod stand, GPS and ranging poles. The produced plan will be useful in feature planning and emergency projects within the project area.
