This research focuses on Why consumers are not eager to take up life and non-life insurance in Allco Insurance PLC, Consumers recognize the fact that insurance provides peacefulness in the societies, but not every one cares to take up insurance. The researcher workers in ALLCO Insurance P.L.C. although certain portion of the population will be studies due to fact that the population is large. Data for the study were collected through questionnaire. In view of this project, it stands clear that the work was conducted with a view of looking into why consumers are not eager to take up life and non-life insurance characteristics of life and non-life insurance and importance of life and non-life insurance. However, the researcher recommended that Insurance salesmen should be well trained, Consumers should be oriented and exposed to the need for insurance, Insurers should make contents of policy easy to understand and pay claims promptly.
