Abstract

Modern office equipment problems and effects on office managers (case study of Kogi state polytechnic, Lokoja). This research was conducted to examine modern office equipment: problems and effects on office managers, a case study of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja. The method used for the study and sources of information obtained were textbooks, journals, questionnaires and internet materials. These were reviewed in order to find the opinions of some people who had written on similar topics in the past. The data were collected presented and analyzed using tables and percentages formular and findings were made which among others include: that office managers cannot function effectively without the use of modern office equipment, the office managers see the need for modern office equipment in their offices. The research was summarized and conclusion was drawn, recommendations were also made which among others include that offices should be well equipped with enough modern office equipment, the office managers should develop an interest in the use of the modern office equipment, a stand by generating plant should be installed and provision should be made to avert power failure when using the modern office equipment.
