Abstract
A study of information services provided by ministry of information library, Owerri. This work examined Information Services provided by ministry of Information Library, Owerri. It adopted survey research method, used the 5 staff in the library as the population of the study and sample size. Questionnaire was used to collect data which were presented and analyzed using frequency tables and percentages finding revealed that the library provided user education/orientation, circulation and reference service among others in order to satisfy the users, reproduce copies of books and curb library misbehaviors. It identified inadequate fund, shortage of staff and inadequate space as the challenges to providing quality service. It, therefore, recommended adequate funding, publicity and adequate space provision, as the ways to enhance service provision
