Abstract

A comparative analysis on the sales of Peak and Three Crown milk – case study of Two-brothers supermarket, Sapele. The study aimed at providing a comparative evaluating of the sales of Peak milk and Three Crown milk in Sapele metropolis. The study in this regard examined the trend patterns of the sales, the preferences of either product, the reason for preferences and the demand pattern for a preferred product. Using simple weighted mean and the trend analysis, the result indicated that most people prefer to consume Peak Milk product and the preference is due to its nutritional value. The trend analysis indicated that the demand for Peak Milk is increasing yearly compared to the down-trending demand for Three Crowns Milk. The study concludes that consumers prefer to consume Peak Milk products than Three crowns and this resulted to the increasing demand for Peak Milk Products in Sapele metropolis
