Abstract
The study assessed the CBN bank’s reforms on commercial banks’ performance. Based on previous studies, the researchers have formulated a set of hypotheses which was tested on the banks. Chi-square was used to assess the CBN bank reforms on earnings per share, profitability, and returns on equity. For the purpose of this research work, the survey method which involves(questionnaires, interviews, and observation) is used, since it appears to be the most suitable for this study due to its descriptive nature. The following are the recommendations that are drawn from the study: i. To safeguard against possible abuse of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)reforms. ii. The researcher commended the establishment of a strong regulatory body to control and regulate matters relating to it. iii. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) reform target can be achieved by the effective implementation of the recommendations. .
