Abstract
The study deals with the effectiveness of social media on Ogwashi-Uku residents in Delta state during the coronavirus lockdown. This study is concerned with determining how social media was used by Ogwashi-Uku residents during the coronavirus lockdown and what impact it had on them. Geographically, the study is limited to Ogwashi-Uku which is situated in the south of Delta state. Each chapter shows or gives a better idea of the effectiveness of social media during the 2020 coronavirus lockdown in Delta state. Chapter one introduces the issues, chapter two gives details into the literature, chapter three shows the method used for the research, chapter four shows the data from the research and chapter five completes the research..
