Design and implementation of a computerized cargo transportation management system

Description

Abstract This project (cargo transportation management system) was out of the necessity to address the inherent problems encountered by members of staff of Super Maritime Shipping Agency and their customers. The current process of management is being operated manually and due to this procedure, numerous problems are been encountered. The manual process involved in the management of cargo were critically examined and the flows noted. The software so designed offers to a great extent, the solutions to these problems.  The project went further to ret the different techniques used in implementing the new design software in order to facilitate a broader understanding of the design software by any user. The new system was designed using Microsoft visual basic 6.0 programming language. This language was chosen because of its easy syntax and features for developing windows based applications.
