Design and implementation of a LAN network user monitoring system using an Android-based mobile app

Description

Abstract This project topic “LAN Network Monitoring System Using an Android-based Mobile App” was carried out with a view to deploying effective monitoring for computers in a Local Area Network. The project developed a system that lets administrators monitor his WLAN network through his android phone with GUI from a remote location it is an alternative solution for monitor network. The main aim of this android application is to provide all the essential information of the wireless network to the admin on their android phone with the help of Wi-Fi. Securing and monitoring a network is an important issue since computers connected in a network can be faulty and its operation reduced, so an effective security and monitoring measures have been deployed that allows administrators to intuitively manage the network. The system was developed using Android SDK and JAVA programming language. This language was used because of its easy syntax and structure for developing graphical user interface mobile based application.
