Design and implementation of a mobile application for campus shuttle bus registration system

Description

Abstract This project is focused on the computerization of mobile application for bus shuttle registration in Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo state. There are some basic problems facing the registration of bus shuttles manually the major problem is that manual registration of shuttles consumes a lot of time and manpower. A design was taken to computerized the manual process in order to check this problem. The research methodology used in this project research is the SSADM (Structured System Analysis and Design Method). This work also suggested how to successfully implement the computerized procedure and to overcome the obstacle that would hinder the successful implementation of the system. The new system was designed using the Android platform and SQLite. The Android platform was chosen because it is widely used by bus drivers and students.
