Abstract
This study is to examine the Effects of Human Resources Training and Development on Worker’s Productivity in Unity Bank, Lokoja Branch. The descriptive research design was used for this study. The data collection is based on questionnaires and 20 respondents were involved. The studies revealed that the effectiveness and success of an organization depend on the human resources which are the most valued assets of every organization. It is concluded that the training of personnel is becoming important for organizations in order to survive the rapid economic and technical development and also be made an integral part of administrative culture rather than a political matter. It was recommended that an adequate training programme should be organized by the management of the institution regularly in order to improve the productivity and performance of secretaries..
