ABSTRACT
This study examines ?Effectiveness of Private Television station in Cultural Promotion in African Independent Television?. The research design used for this study is survey method. Chapter one of this research deals with the introduction of the research work. Chapter two deals with the related literature review of this research work. Chapter three focus on the methodology. The Random Sampling Techniques was used to obtain data. Questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection. The questionnaire was divided into three sections (Section A, B & C). The findings of this study made Television has tried to stimulate renewed interest in the society by promoting the cultural resources for education and other purposes. Chapter four deal with the presentation and analysis of data. While chapter five deals with the summary, conclusion and recommendation of the research project.
