It was revealed that the respondents were not satisfied with the news stories concerning Isoko culture that is being published in the newspaper. Also, a good number of the population studied opined that -the government has not shown any political interest in developing and promoting the Isoko culture. Finally, Isoko Mirror Newspaper low level of attention cannot be attributed to the financial problems as said by the media analysts. Based on the findings of the study, the researcher recommends that local newspapers in Nigeria must be used simply as a mirror but also as African goals of survival of Nigerian culture. The government on its part should legislate to control the amount of foreign news that has been published in local newspapers. Finally, the Isoko Mirror newspaper should publish more stories that will propagate Isoko culture than that of foreign news which will encourage the promotion of Isoko cultural heritage and activities
