Abstract
The effect of social networks on our youths – case study of Facebook. This research work was designed to find out the causes and effects of social networks on our youths. The population of the study comprised of youths in Owerri, metropolis Imo state. The instrument for data collection used was the questionnaire, which consisted of 6 research questions. The mean score was the method of analysis used for the study. The result of the study showed that stress is inevitable and has a lot of effect on the youths but could be avoided if adequately managed. Conclusion was based on the result of findings while recommendations were proffered based on the conclusion drawn from the finding.
