Abstract

This project dealt with the problem of policy implementation in the Nigerian public sector (A case study of National Poverty eradication programmed NAPEP). In chapter one is discussed in detail the background of the study, statement of the problem, objectives of the study, significance of the study and research questions. Chapter two the research dealt with the literature review under which in one way or the other gave useful suggestions for the stated research problem.  Chapter three deals with the presentation of research methods used in this study,  research design, method of data collection, sample size, sampling techniques and data analysis techniques.  In chapter four treated the presentation and analysis of data under which only questions relating to the research questions were used in the study and calculation were based on the responses from the questionnaire distributed. Finally, in chapter five, the researcher made her summary and recommendations for the establishment of the topic problem of policy implementation in Nigeria’s public sector (a case study of National Poverty Eradication programme Imo State.
